This unit looks nice and really removed the moisture with a continuous dripping, for four months, then the coils kept freezing up. I contacted the distributor, and they gladly shipped a new one out. Hopefully I will have better luck with the replacement. Otherwise, I am very happy with this unit.

I would like to start from the beginning, dehumidifier is very well packaged and only one small strip of plastic covering the power cord. If you are not one to read the manual prior to setting up this uniquely styled unit please do so for there is a really heart warming story about Charlie on the 1st page.. Now lets talk about this incredible dehumidifier. Once reading the manual, plugging in the unit and setting desired settings I left the house for maybe an hour. Once I returned the difference in temperature felt like the AC was dropped however thermostat read the same setting. Running AC cost a fortune, no longer the need to adjust the thermostat. Recommend not setting the unit near your thermostat because blows out tad bit warmer air so relocated my unit in a spare room. The 8500 sq ft dehumidifier weighs 55 pounds, 2' 3" in height, 15" & 3/4" in width & 12 1/2" in depth. Rolls nicely with the attached 4 canister wheels. 3 prong (115 V) cord 5' & 2" in length. 125 pint bucket removes & replaces with ease, touch button controls (refer to photo's) safety lock if smaller children reside in your home. Noise level is 95% hearing the fan, barely hear the motor. External hose is also an option for continuous draining I could not be more pleased to have a product that is saving me money, performance is as promised inspired by a student at a University~Simply Beautiful! This dehumidifier is amazing. I unboxed it and set it up in less than 10 minutes and it began working immediately. Within a few hours the garage was down from 65% humidity to 40%. I was so pleasantly surprised at the speed and efficiency at which this machine worked. My one gripe is that the air exiting the machine, the less humid air, is noticeably warmer than the existing air. That is a bit of a bummer for my garage scenario, but maybe not for others.

Immediately after plugged in, you can tell this is not a home depot special. Very quiet and you could tell it was working in minutes. Worth paying a little more for.

THE LOCK BUTTON IS DIFFICULT TO DISENGAGE. OTHERWISE, IT IS FUNCTIONAL AND QUIET.
